Charles Jennings
Charles founded Stonehouse Corporation in 2012 to be the preferred private ownership platform for outstanding Australasian businesses.
Stonehouse’s permanent ownership philosophy and fund structures are in conscious imitation of Warren Buffett and Charlie Munger’s Berkshire Hathaway.
Charles attended his first Berkshire Hathaway meeting at age 15, and has been an investment analyst for as long as he can remember.
He began his career as an operating manager, and then a management consultant. His first private equity role was at a leading Boston venture capital firm. Just prior to starting Stonehouse, Charles’s team created, acquired, and operated businesses of strategic importance for an ASX 50 company.
Charles has a passion for business and the distinctive culture found at Stonehouse and its subsidiaries. He holds a BA cum laude from the University of Minnesota and an MBA from Harvard.
